The primary basis was to build strong “relationships” with local leaders to truly understand and embrace the hardships of our most vulnerable. Since 2018, I have visited Kenya twice a year to stay fully connected because the landscape is ever-changing. This has allowed me to make solid connections with other leaders as well as monitor WOAN’s progression. In 2020, after the global pandemic impacted “normal life” in Kenya, WOAN was already positioned to help. One of my greatest strengths that I offer my team is the ability to “listen-to-understand” while acknowledging the cultural differences. It should be no secret that Kenya and the Unites States are great friends. I have completely embraced this relationship as I represent myself, my family, my country and our WOAN donors, contributors and prayer partners.

Over the past twenty years, I have obtained extensive knowledge and experience with change management, building productive relationships and project planning for one of the top energy providers in the United States. My current role within process management combined with my passion for “doing things the right way” has uniquely positioned me to keep WOAN on the front-lines of helping the less fortunate reach their goals through education. I attended Saint Augustine’s University and hold a degree in Industrial Systems Technology. I reside in Stanley, North Carolina and I enjoy reading, cooking, volunteering, sightseeing and spending quality time with my amazing wife and our remarkable daughters!
