We welcome Jared Medford to the We One Action Network (WOAN) Advisory Board. Jared has been a loyal friend and dedicated supporter of WOAN since 2018. He has been amazed to see how far WOAN has grown and wants to be more involved in the front end of our work. He has held numerous leadership positions and is currently a Development Project Manager for Duke Energy.

Jared is a registered Project Management Professional (PMP). He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology. He enjoys hiking and traveling to new destinations. Above all, he enjoys spending time with his family and close friends. Jared will help WOAN evaluate concepts or ideas for viable solutions to help vulnerable youths learn “hands-on” and various practical skills to gain employment.

As We One Action Network (WOAN) continues to evolve and maneuver, we are thrilled to have Pam join our Board of Advisors. She has served on The Coca-Cola Company’s diversity board for more than 7 years and she currently serves as the diversity advisor for the BECC conference. She is also a member of the advisory board for Women of EV’s and Diversity Executive Leadership Academy. In addition:

• Award-winning diversity specialist, and speaker, and the Founder & CEO of Integrated Solutions.
• Owner & Principal of Impact Energy, a minority women-owned energy services company that helps organizations build strategies.
• The Co-Executive Director of Maa Eagles Foundation which supports vulnerable girls from Tanzanian Maasai tribes with educational opportunities.

Pam has a degree in Marketing, a certification in Human Resource Management, and is a Certified Cultural Diversity Professional and Trainer. She holds a certification in Understanding Diversity and Inclusion from Perdue University. She also is a lead author for the Energy Equity Project, and served as an SME for Drawdown Georgia, RCE Atlanta Advancing Justice for All, and Community of Practice Committees.

The mission of We One Action Network (WOAN) is to build a better future for vulnerable and disadvantaged children. This can only be accomplished through successful methods and best practices but with a keen eye for viable solutions.

It is with great pleasure to welcome Hannah to our Board of  Advisors. Hannah is a creative storyteller and professional communicator with experience in grant writing and cross-cultural communications. She also has a vast knowledge of developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies for international nonprofits.

Hannah has worked with organizations, including CFK Africa, RTI International, and Habitat for Humanity, and has studied abroad in Peru and Spain. Hannah received bachelor’s degrees in Communication, Spanish, and International Studies from North Carolina State University. She also earned a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Florence arrives at We One Action Network (WOAN) with extensive knowledge and experience with the intricacies of managing Kenya-based initiatives at the Community Based Organization (CBO) level. She is a nurturist who understands the duality between social environments and how those environments adversely impact Kenyan youth, especially young girls.

Florence is a Board Member of Angels of Hope Special Children’s Center. She previously led efforts in youth-based training, projects, and programs with CBO Box Girls-Kenya for 8 years. There, she worked in various roles ranging from Program Manager and Project Officer to Program Coordinator. She also co-founded Green Dada Organization in 2019 which creates a safe environment where girls and young women can reach their full potential.

These roles and opportunities have strengthened her ability to manage a variety of initiatives focused on education, livelihoods, sexual reproductive health, youth leadership, and community development. Her educational background consists of:

• BS Degree in Environmental Health from Kenyatta University.
• Diploma in Community Health from Jaramogi Oginga University.
• Certificate in Reproductive Health Justice (Africa) from Afya-na-Haki Organization.
• Certificate in HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness with Lets Stop Aids Organization.
• Certification as a Human Rights Defender under the East Africa Human Rights Program.
• Certificate of Secondary Education from Sega Girls Secondary School.

Prasad began his engagement with We One Action Network (WOAN) in 2019 as a donor but felt compelled to do more. Prasad is a firm believer that quality education is essential for growth and opportunity. We are ecstatic to welcome Prasad as a member of our Board of Directors.

Prasad holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from SRI Venkateswara University in Tirupati, India. Prasad is a systems developer and architect with Siritek Inc. He is also an astute real estate investor and property manager.
